Uga Resorts Introduces “An Uga Experience” Collection for East Coast Properties

Uga Resorts, the award-winning Sri Lankan hospitality group known for authentic luxury travel, has announced a new brand evolution with the launch of its “an Uga Experience” collection. As part of this update, two of the company’s beloved east coast resorts will be reintroduced with new names: Uga Bay will become The Bay an Uga Experience, while Uga Jungle Beach will become Jungle Beach an Uga Experience.

The new collection is designed for travelers who want the comfort, energy, and convenience of a full-service resort while still enjoying meaningful access to the surrounding destination. Unlike Uga’s more intimate boutique properties, “an Uga Experience” properties are larger in scale, offering more rooms, broader resort-style amenities, and immersive activities for families, groups, couples, and adventure travelers.

The Bay an Uga Experience is located along Pasikuda’s pristine coastline, a stretch widely celebrated for its soft sands and clear turquoise waters. The resort offers 48 contemporary rooms and suites, direct beach access, an underground spa, seaside dining, and water sports. Nightly rates begin at $302, based on two adults sharing a Beach Studio on a bed-and-breakfast basis. For more information, visit https://www.ugaresorts.com/thebay/

Jungle Beach an Uga Experience sits within a fifteen-acre reserve where mangrove forest meets a secluded four-kilometer beach in Trincomalee. With 49 cabins positioned between jungle, lagoon, and ocean, the property creates a natural base for exploring Kuchchaveli, Trincomalee, local villages, ancient temples, coastal viewpoints, and marine life. Nightly rates begin at $334, based on two adults sharing a Lagoon Cabin on a bed-and-breakfast basis. For more information, visit https://www.ugaresorts.com/junglebeach/
